Nalinee discusses with European representatives to urge Thailand-EU to negotiate FTA to increase economic potential
Dr. Nalinee added that the negotiations on the Thailand-EU FTA are an agenda that both parties give importance to because the EU is a large market consisting of 27 countries, has high purchasing power, and is the second largest economy in the world. The negotiations have already concluded two chapters.
These include the chapter on Good Regulatory Practices, which deals with the dissemination and public consultation on various regulations, and the Transparency chapter, which focuses on creating transparency in laws, regulations and processes related to this FTA, with both parties hoping for the negotiations to be completed as soon as possible.
